The 9 km former riverbed park is Valencia's dog paradise, with multiple fenced off-leash áreas caninas (notably near Palau de la Música and Viveros). Expect dozens of locals walking dogs at dawn and dusk.

Calatrava's futuristic complex is walkable on leash around its reflective pools and plazas, with spectacular photo angles. Interiors (Hemisfèric, Oceanogràfic, Museo de las Ciencias) admit only assistance dogs.

Valencia's official 'Playa de Pinedo para Perros', south of the port, is open year-round and fenced off as dedicated canine territory. Showers, shade structures, and dog waste bins are provided.

The iconic city beaches ban dogs April through October during daytime. Outside summer, early-morning leashed walks along the promenade are tolerated, and its pet-friendly terraces serve great paella year-round.

The 1928 Modernista market accepts small dogs in carriers at vendors' discretion; the square outside and the UNESCO Lonja de la Seda exterior are leash-accessible. Great morning stop for produce en route to the Turia.

The medieval quarter's narrow streets and street-art alleys are lined with dog-welcoming cafés and wine bars. The Torres de Serranos and Torres de Quart city gates offer exterior photo stops on the old defensive wall.
