Plaza del Pilar y Basílica del Pilar
Casco Histórico
Spain's largest baroque cathedral and Zaragoza's spiritual heart, with eleven coloured-tile domes and four corner towers rising over the Ebro. The basilica interior does not admit pet dogs, but the vast surrounding plaza — one of Europe's largest pedestrian squares — is fully dog-walkable and arguably the city's best photo backdrop. Combine with the adjacent Plaza de las Catedrales and a stroll across the Stone Bridge to Parque del Tío Jorge.
💡 Sunset is the best photo light — the western façade catches the sun and the plaza fills with locals walking their dogs
