Pet-Friendly Restaurants in Formentera

A 1960s village inn at the heart of Sant Ferran, the bohemian counter-village to touristy Es Pujols, where Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell once drank during their Formentera escapes. The shaded outdoor terrace facing the village church welcomes leashed dogs, staff bring water without being asked, and the menu sticks to traditional payesa cooking with grilled fish, paella and tortillas.

Converted from an 18th-century salt mill at the entrance to Ses Illetes beach, this is the iconic sunset table of Formentera, with the white sand stretching toward Ibiza on the horizon. Leashed dogs are welcome at the outdoor wooden deck tables facing the water, and staff bring water bowls on request. Fish-forward menu with grilled red prawns, lobster paella and the bullit de peix stew.
