Eastern cliff (15 km from Sant Francesc) ยท Cap de la Mola, La Mola, Formentera
The 1861 lighthouse at the eastern tip of Formentera, perched on a 142 m vertical cliff plunging straight to the Mediterranean. Made famous by Jules Verne's novel Hector Servadac, it is the easternmost point of the Balearics and the first place to catch the sunrise. Leashed dogs are welcome on the entire exterior platform and the surrounding cliff paths; the lighthouse interior is closed to visitors.
