Es Vedrà viewpoint above Cala d'Hort
Clifftop above Cala d'Hort (south-west coast) · Mirador d'Es Vedrà, Sant Josep de sa Talaia
The clifftop mirador above Cala d'Hort offers the most direct land-based view of Es Vedrà, the 382 m vertical limestone monolith offshore, and its smaller sister Es Vedranell. Local lore claims Es Vedrà is the third most magnetic place on Earth and a UFO hotspot; in practice it is the most photographed island silhouette in the Mediterranean. Leashed dogs welcome on the mirador and the clifftop trail year-round. Sunset over the monolith from the mirador is the signature Sant Josep experience.
💡 Arrive 60 min before sunset year-round; park at the upper car park rather than at the cove, walk the clifftop ridge with the dog before the sun touches the horizon
