Driving is the strongly preferred option for pet owners — no restrictions, no supplements, and it opens up day trips to Nazaré (50 km) and Óbidos (20 km).
Rodoviária do Oeste operates frequent express buses from Lisbon Campo Grande bus station to Peniche (approximately 1h30). Small dogs in closed carriers are generally accepted at driver discretion.
