Are dogs allowed inside the Castillo de Dénia?▼
Leashed dogs are welcome on the outer ramparts and the panoramic outdoor paths of the castle, with sweeping views over the port and Montgó. Dogs are not allowed inside the indoor archaeological museum spaces (Palau del Governador, Museu Arqueològic). The outdoor visit alone is worth the climb and takes 60–90 minutes including the descent through the casco antiguo of Les Roques.
Can I take my dog on the Baleària ferry to Ibiza?▼
Yes. Pets travel either free in a ventilated on-board kennel area, in your car if you bring a vehicle, or in a dedicated pet cabin for an extra fee of roughly 60 to 120 euros per pet. EU pet passport (or UK AHC), microchip and current rabies vaccination are required at check-in. Book the pet cabin at least 2 weeks ahead for July–August sailings.
