Pet-Friendly Attractions in Bucharest

The historic core of the city — cobbled streets lined with neo-Brâncovenesc townhouses, ruined churches, and dozens of dog-friendly café terraces. The 15th-century Curtea Veche (Old Princely Court), once Vlad the Impaler's residence, sits on the southern edge. The whole district is leash-friendly and pedestrianised in the evenings.

An outdoor ethnographic museum on the Herastrau lakefront, with 270 historic Romanian houses, churches, and farms relocated here from across the country. Dogs on leash are welcome throughout the open-air park; the houses' interiors admit only assistance dogs, but most visiting happens outside.
