Huisdiervriendelijke bezienswaardigheden in Boekarest

The historic core of the city, cobbled streets lined with neo-Brâncovenesc townhouses, ruined churches, and dozens of dog-friendly café terraces. The 15th-century Curtea Veche (Old Princely Court), once Vlad the Impaler's residence, sits on the southern edge. The whole district is leash-friendly and pedestrianised in the evenings.

The historic spine of Bucharest, running 2.7 km from the Splaiul Independenței up to the Piața Victoriei. Lined with 19th-century palaces, embassies, the Romanian Athenaeum, and the Royal Palace (now the National Art Museum). Leashed dogs are welcome the entire length, day or night, and many sidewalk café terraces along the way.

An outdoor ethnographic museum on the Herastrau lakefront, with 270 historic Romanian houses, churches, and farms relocated here from across the country. Dogs on leash are welcome throughout the open-air park; the houses' interiors admit only assistance dogs, but most visiting happens outside.
