De Salzburg Card (24u/48u/72u) dekt onbeperkt openbaar vervoer en veel museumtoegangen en omvat het meenemen van je hond.

The Festungsbahn (funicular to Hohensalzburg Fortress) does not officially list a dog policy. In practice, dogs on leads are accepted in the cabin, confirm with staff at the lower station before purchasing tickets. The funicular is the easiest way to reach the fortress with a dog, though the steep cobbled path on foot is also manageable.
