Hondvriendelijke bezienswaardigheden in Kitzbühel

The 700-year-old walled core with its pastel merchant houses, boutiques and church towers is compact, mostly traffic-calmed and very strollable with a leashed dog. Water bowls appear outside many shops and cafes in season.

Ride the Hahnenkammbahn, dogs travel free, to the panoramic trails at 1,700 m and the start hut of the world's most feared downhill. In summer and autumn you can walk the Streif course downhill with a leashed dog and grasp just how steep the Mausefalle really is.

The pyramid peak opposite the Hahnenkamm, served by the Hornbahn where dogs also ride free. From the Alpenhaus you walk flower-lined paths with 360-degree views over the Wilder Kaiser and the Hohe Tauern; the alpine flower garden area is a gentler alternative to the summit push.
