Swinoujscie

Standing almost 65 metres tall, this yellow-brick lighthouse from the mid-19th century is the tallest on the Polish Baltic coast. The grounds welcome leashed dogs, though the narrow interior spiral stairs are best tackled one owner at a time while the other waits below.

A white, windmill-shaped navigation marker built in 1873-1874 to guide ships into the harbour, and one of the town's most recognisable symbols. It sits right at the end of the promenade next to the dog beach, an easy leashed walk and photo stop.

A 58-hectare spa park laid out by 19th-century landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné, with mature trees, ponds and shaded paths linking the pier to the town centre. Leashed dogs are welcome throughout, and a fenced off-leash run sits inside the park itself.

Poland's first-ever designated dog beach, over 1,000 square metres of sand next to the Stawa Mlyny landmark, marked with bilingual signage and equipped with waste-bag dispensers. Open year-round, unlike the seasonal restriction on the main beach.

A free municipal ferry crossing the Swina river channel to Wolin island roughly every 20 minutes, taking pedestrians, cyclists and cars alike. Dogs travel free on a leash, and the short crossing is an attraction in its own right.

A flat, paved seafront boardwalk running from central Swinoujscie into the German resorts of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin on Usedom island, about 12 km one way. Leashed dogs can walk the whole route; carry ID or a passport since temporary border checks have been reinstated since 2023.
