A 13th-century medieval market square dominated by the red-brick Gothic Town Hall and ringed by Gothic and Baroque townhouses. The Copernicus statue stands at the centre and cafe terraces line the square. Leashed dogs welcome on the cobbles and most terraces; the Town Hall museum interior admits assistance dogs only.

A 13th-century defensive tower built into the city walls, leaning about 1.5 metres off vertical due to clay foundations. Local legend attributes the tilt to a punished Teutonic Knight. Leashed dogs welcome all around the outside; the interior cafe admits assistance dogs only.

A 2 km riverside promenade along the Vistula at the foot of the medieval walls, named after Philadelphia, Toruń's American sister city. Postcard view back at the brick Gothic spires. Leashed dogs welcome year-round, dog toilet near ul. św. Jakuba, small gravel beaches at low water.

A large 19th-century landscape park west of the Old Town, with mature oak and chestnut alleys, two ponds, and broad lawns. A fenced off-leash dog zone (wybieg) sits on the southern edge with agility ramps. One-hour loop connected to the Bulwar Filadelfijski.

A 350-hectare pine and oak forest on the north-west edge of the city, reachable on bus 27 in 15 minutes. Network of marked walking and cycling trails. Off-leash tolerated on inner trails, leash required near entrances.

The circuit of surviving medieval walls around the Old Town takes in the Monastery Gate, the Bridge Gate, and the Sailors' Gate, all in red brick Gothic. A one-hour fully outdoor loop, leashed dogs welcome year-round.
