The long bay and its promenade gather the sunset bars facing the open sea. You walk it on a leash along the seafront, but the town beach is regulated in summer and busy evenings can be noisy for a dog.

This landscaped seafront promenade lines up lawns, palm trees and illuminated fountains that dance in the evening. A pedestrian space perfect for a cool leashed stroll, with welcome pockets of shade during the hot hours.

These white-sand, turquoise-water coves west of town rank among the finest on Ibiza. Dogs are banned from these patrolled beaches during the bathing season, so look instead for a small unmanaged rocky cove.

This inland farming valley turns pink and white with almond blossom around late January and February. Rural lanes and open trails to walk on a leash, far from the coastal bustle, ideal off-season.
