Dog-Friendly Restaurants in Zadar

A Slow Food member located on the Five Wells Square (Trg Pet Bunara) since 1981, with a distinctive Cor-Ten steel terrace tucked against the city walls. Family-run, seasonal Dalmatian cuisine sourced from their own gardens in Poljica. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor terrace and the family-run staff are notably warm to four-legged guests.

A long-established konoba on Trg Petra Zoranića, with a stone-walled interior and a tree-shaded outdoor terrace under the campanile. Traditional Dalmatian fare — grilled fish, pašticada beef, black risotto, octopus salad — at sensible mid-range prices. Leashed dogs are welcomed on the outdoor terrace; staff routinely bring a bowl of water.

A relaxed pizzeria-tavern on the Trg Tri Bunara at the southern end of the Old Town, popular with Zadar families.
