Split's local public transport is operated by Promet Split (buses). Dogs with a muzzle are permitted on local buses. The Jadrolinija ferry terminal is at the Split port, a short walk from the Riva promenade. Car ferries to Supetar (Braฤ) take 45 minutes and depart frequently. Catamarans to Hvar Town take about 1 hour. Dogs must be on-leash with a muzzle on the car deck; in the passenger area, a carrier or muzzle is required.
