Santorini Thira International Airport, 6 km southeast of Fira on a single runway shared with the Hellenic Air Force. Year-round Aegean and SKY Express flights to Athens (45 min); summer charter and low-cost flights from most major EU hubs (London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Vienna). One of the busiest summer-season airports in the Cyclades.

Athinios is Santorini's main commercial port, 10 km south of Fira at the foot of the caldera cliff, served by Blue Star Ferries and Hellenic Seaways conventional ferries from Piraeus (5–8h, daily) and Sea Jets high-speed catamarans (4–5h). Carries cars, motorhomes and foot passengers, plus all Cyclades inter-island traffic.

Central bus hub on Mitropoleos street in Fira, single station serving all KTEL routes across the island: Oia, Pyrgos, Akrotiri, Kamari, Perissa, Vlychada, Athinios port, JTR airport. Modern coaches, 1.80 EUR flat fare to any village, half-hourly to hourly frequency in summer.
