The whitewashed cliff-top village at the northern tip of Santorini, 11 km from Fira, with the iconic blue-domed Anastasi and Agios Spyridon churches and the ruined Byzantine castle (Kasteli Agiou Nikolaou) as the most photographed sunset point in Greece. Pedestrian-only marble lanes, leashed dogs on the open paths and at most cafรฉ terraces off-peak.
