Marbella's Ordenanza Municipal sobre Tenencia de Animales (BOPMA 19 July 2012, updated 26 March 2014) keeps dogs leashed in all public spaces, with off-leash use legally restricted to the city's signposted parques caninos. The flagship is Parque Canino Arroyo de la Represa, a fully fenced municipal off-leash park near the centre with water fountain, agility kit and free parking. Outside the city the Senda Litoral coastal path links 7 km of dog-walkable seafront from Puerto Banús east toward the centre. Pine pollen peaks April-May along the coastal pines; July-August asphalt routinely exceeds 50 degC at midday, walk at dawn or after 19:00.

Parque Canino Arroyo de la Represa

The municipal off-leash park, fully enclosed and signposted along Avenida Nabeúl where it meets Avenida Dr Maíz Viñals. Drinking fountain for dogs, agility obstacles, shaded seating and free street parking. The surrounding Parque de la Represa is a tree-lined green corridor that doubles as a pleasant leashed loop after the off-leash session.

Senda Litoral Marbella

The Marbella section of the 160 km Senda Litoral coastal walk, running from Puerto Banús east through Nueva Andalucía and Marbella centre and on to El Rosario. Flat boardwalk and beach-path mix, leashed all the way, with plenty of chiringuitos that double as water-bowl stops. The most popular daily walk in the city for residents and visitors with dogs.

Parque de la Constitución

A central palm-shaded park behind Marbella's lighthouse, used by the Ayuntamiento for events like the Pasarela Dog Model adoption fair. No fenced off-leash area, but flat paths, drinking fountains and a layout of low planters make it an easy leashed stroll between Avenida del Mar and the Casco Antiguo. Convenient for hotel guests on the seafront looking for shade away from the boardwalk.
