Pet-Friendly Attractions in Marbella

Marbella's whitewashed old town and its central square framed by orange trees, the 16th-century town hall, the Casa del Corregidor and the Ermita de Santiago. The cobbled lanes off the plaza (Calle Ancha, Calle Tetuán, Calle Virgen de los Dolores) are pedestrianised, narrow, and stay shaded most of the day - the easiest place to walk a dog in summer once the sun is up. Dozens of café terraces around the plaza accept dogs as the default.

A marble promenade lined with ten original bronze sculptures by Salvador Dalí (including Perseus and Mercurio), connecting the leafy Alameda Park to the seafront paseo marítimo. The open-air museum is free, accessible 24/7, and the entire length is walkable with a dog. Fountains, palm trees, and shaded benches make it one of the most pleasant short walks in central Marbella, ideal as a 15-minute bridge between the old town and the beach.

A continuous 7 km wooden and concrete boardwalk running from the eastern end of Marbella town all the way to Puerto Banús, hugging the beachfront the entire way. It is the city's longest unbroken dog walk, fully flat, and links Pinillo dog beach, the Golden Mile beach clubs and Ventura del Mar dog beach into a single corridor. Puerto Banús itself is fully walkable on a leash; the marina-side promenade is busy and glamorous but perfectly safe for calm dogs.
