Getting Around Bregenz with a Dog

Bregenz is small enough to walk end to end along the lake, and Austrian transport rules are dog-friendly but formal: on buses and trains a dog needs a leash AND a muzzle (or a carrier for small dogs), a rule that surprises visitors from countries without muzzle laws. The Pfänderbahn cable car carries dogs up the mountain.
