Pet-Friendly Transport in Antibes

Antibes mainline station sits between Cannes and Nice on the coastal line, with TER regional trains every 15 to 30 minutes during the day. SNCF national policy applies: dogs under 6 kg in a carrier travel for 7.50 EUR, dogs over 6 kg pay 50 percent of the adult fare and must be muzzled on regional trains. The station is a 10-minute walk from the Vieil Antibes.

Envibus runs the bus network across Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Sophia Antipolis. Its official règlement permits only guide dogs and small domestic pets in an enclosed carrier on board; large dogs on a leash are not accepted. The seasonal line 14 to Cap d'Antibes and the Plage de la Garoupe is therefore not a practical option with a medium or large dog.

The TER Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur coastal line links Antibes with Cannes (10 minutes), Nice (20 minutes) and Monaco (45 minutes) several times an hour.
