Pet-Friendly Attractions in Antibes

The covered Marché Provençal under the wrought-iron canopy of Cours Masséna runs every morning except Mondays in winter, and daily in summer: stalls of Var vegetables, Mediterranean fish, cheese, flowers, socca and tapenade. Dogs on leads are welcome to walk between stalls and the surrounding terrace cafés all spill out around the market.

The Sentier du Littoral, locally known as the Sentier de Tirepoil after the wind that pulls the hair, is a 5 km coastal path tracing the rocky tip of Cap d'Antibes between Plage de la Garoupe and the Villa Eilenroc. It takes 1 to 2 hours at a normal pace and the official tourism site explicitly states dogs are welcome on a leash. The single most rewarding outdoor visit you can do with a dog in Antibes.

Port Vauban is one of the largest yacht marinas in Europe, with the so-called Quai des Milliardaires hosting some of the world's biggest private vessels. The flat promenade around the harbour links to the ramparts walk and the Château Grimaldi, and the entire circuit is open to leashed dogs at all hours. The view from the Bastion Saint-André across the bay to the Alps is the postcard shot of Antibes.
