Santa Eulària des Riu

This hill crowned by a whitewashed sixteenth-century fortified church and an old hamlet overlooks the town and the sea. The lanes and outdoor forecourt are walked on a leash, but the church interior stays off-limits to dogs.

Ibiza's oldest hippy market spreads its hundreds of craft stalls under the pines of Es Canar each week. An open-air market where leashed dogs are tolerated, best avoided at peak hours and in strong heat with a pet.
