Getting Around Valldemossa with Your Pet

The regional TIB bus L210 runs from Palma's Estació Intermodal to Valldemossa village in around 45 minutes for roughly €5 each way, with frequent departures throughout the day. Small pets in an approved carrier travel free; larger dogs may be accepted at the driver's discretion. The bus drops at the Avinguda de Palma stop at the village entrance, a five-minute walk from the Real Cartuja. Tickets are bought on board. This is the standard way to reach Valldemossa without a car.

The TIB bus L203 follows the Ma-10 Tramuntana coast road from Palma through Valldemossa, Deià, Sóller, and on to Port de Sóller. From Valldemossa it is the easiest pet-friendly way to reach Deià (15 minutes), Sóller (35 minutes), and the coast without driving the famously winding road yourself. Small pets in a carrier travel free, larger dogs at driver discretion. Frequencies are lower than the L210, check the TIB website for the day's timetable.

Valldemossa has a small official taxi rank on Plaça Ramon Llull near the village entrance, with a handful of cars in summer and only on-call service in winter. The PMI airport run is around €30 to €35 one way for the 17 km journey. Dogs are accepted at the driver's discretion, usually with a small additional fee and a towel or blanket request. For guaranteed pet-friendly transfers it is often easier to pre-book a private hire or use Cabify, where you can confirm the pet policy in advance.
