The island's vets are clustered in Heringsdorf at the heart of the Kaiserbäder, with a further practice in the town of Usedom in the south, so wherever you stay a vet is within reach. These are small local practices working mainly by appointment, so programme the numbers into your phone when you arrive. For a genuine out-of-hours emergency you may be referred toward Wolgast or the mainland, so ask your practice how after-hours cover works.

Seestraße 17, 17424 Ostseebad Heringsdorf
A small-animal practice right in Heringsdorf on Seestraße, central to all three Kaiserbäder and the most convenient first call for dogs and cats during a Kaiserbäder stay. It handles consultations, vaccinations and everyday care.
💡 Phone ahead to confirm consulting times, and have your dog's EU passport to hand.
Delbrückstraße 36 A, 17424 Ostseebad Heringsdorf
A second Heringsdorf practice on Delbrückstraße, useful as a backup or for a second opinion when the first is fully booked in high season. It covers routine consultations and everyday treatment for dogs and cats.
💡 Save both Heringsdorf numbers; in peak summer a single practice can be busy.
Bäderstraße 1, 17406 Usedom
A practice in the town of Usedom in the island's quieter south, around 15 km from the Kaiserbäder, handy if you are staying inland or in the Achterwasser villages. It handles everyday consultations and care for dogs and cats.
💡 If you are based in the south of the island, this is your nearest vet; allow for a short drive from the resorts.
