Best Parks & Green Spaces in Tossa de Mar

The signposted Tossa stage of the GR-92 long-distance Mediterranean coastal path, running 9 km south from the Passeig del Mar past Cala Bona, Cala Pola, Cala Giverola and Cala Salionç to Lloret de Mar. Cliff-top route with frequent stone benches, three shaded pine sections and dramatic sea views over the Costa Brava coves. Wide enough for a leashed dog the whole way.

The wooded headland that crowns the Vila Vella medieval town, with a 1.2 km clifftop loop along the four 12th-century watchtowers and battlements of the only fortified medieval centre on the Catalan coast. Pine and carob shade, three open viewpoints over Platja Gran and Mar Menuda, and the Cap de Tossa lighthouse at the eastern tip. Free public access at all hours.

The shaded central square of Tossa, opening onto the Passeig del Mar and the Platja Gran with plane trees, a fountain and a row of benches that locals call the village living room. The closest thing the town has to a formal park; the place children, café terraces and resident dogs share by default.
