Swinoujscie's spa heritage means the town has an unusually large, mature park at its centre, and in 2022 the city added a proper fenced off-leash run inside it, a rare amenity on the Polish coast. Beyond the spa park, the forested parts of Uznam island give leashed dogs quiet, shaded walking away from the crowded seafront in July and August.
A 58-hectare spa park at the heart of town, laid out by 19th-century Prussian landscape architect Peter Joseph Lennรฉ, with mature trees, ponds and shaded paths linking the pier area to the town centre. Leashed dogs are welcome throughout the walking paths.

Pine and mixed forest covers much of Uznam island south and east of the built-up seafront, with sandy tracks used by locals for quiet dog walks away from the tourist crush. Trails connect toward Warszow and the Wolin ferry landing.
