Swinoujscie sits on one of the widest beaches in Poland, a broad band of fine sand running the length of Uznam island, and it was home to the first dedicated dog beach on the entire Polish coast, open since 2006. Outside that marked zone, dogs are restricted from the main public beach during the busiest daytime hours of the July-August season, so plan around the designated beach or the quieter Wolin-island shore.
