Corviglia & Piz Nair
Corviglia plateau, 2,486 m (Piz Nair summit 3,057 m) ยท Corviglia, 7500 St. Moritz
The Corviglia at 2,486 m is the home mountain of St. Moritz, reached in 7 min by the historic 1928 Chantarella funicular and then a cable car from St. Moritz-Dorf. Leashed dogs are accepted on both legs (small dogs free, large dogs CHF 5 return). The plateau offers the Mathis Food Affairs gourmet stop, a 360-degree panorama from Piz Nair (3,057 m, second cable car up), and the dog-friendly trails down via Suvretta to St. Moritz-Bad. Two-time Olympic alpine ski venue (1928 and 1948).
๐ก Take the Chantarella funicular at 09:00, walk the Suvretta Loop (8 km dog-friendly, mostly descent) and end at St. Moritz-Bad - your dog gets a 4 h day of fresh air without altitude stress, and you avoid the lunch crowd on the Corviglia plateau.
