Puig de Missa church-fortress
Whitewashed hilltop above the town centre · Puig de Missa, Santa Eulària des Riu
The whitewashed 16th-century church-fortress of Puig de Missa sits on a hill above the town, a fortified Mediterranean parish church surrounded by an ethnographic open-air ensemble of cisterns, ossuary and farmhouse. The cobbled path up the hill is leashed-dog-friendly year-round, and the panorama from the top sweeps from the river estuary to the Es Canar coast. The interior is off-limits to dogs.
💡 Climb at sunset for the panoramic light, then descend along the riverside path to dinner in town
