Roses is a 20,000-resident Costa Brava nord fishing port and beach town wrapped around the 12 km crescent of the Bahía de Roses, with the Renaissance Ciutadella fortress 16th-century walls anchoring the southern flank and the Cap de Creus Natural Park rising to the north. The Passeig Marítim along Platja de Roses, the Plaça de Catalunya in the casc antic and the harbour-front Carrer del Port form the densest restaurant belt, where Catalan health rules (Decret 1/2010 and Llei 22/2003) leave dog access at the host`s discretion as long as the dog is leashed and outside food preparation zones. Most terraces openly welcome dogs because the customer base mixes Camí de Ronda hikers, Cap de Creus day-trippers and Empordà residents who walk the bay with their pet. The three addresses below appear consistently on the Ajuntament de Roses tourism office`s curated map and on Google`s `accepts dogs` filter for the town, in a town also famous as the birthplace of the legendary El Bulli restaurant (Cala Montjoi, 1962-2011, Ferran Adrià).
