Platja de Roses
Centre, along the Bahía de Roses crescent · Passeig Marítim, 17480 Roses
The 3 km main town beach of fine sand running along the inner crescent of the Bahía de Roses, framed by the Ciutadella walls on the southern flank and the rising Cap de Creus headland to the north. Supervised in summer with the standard ban on dogs (leash-tolerated October to May per the Ajuntament ordenança), and lined with showers, the Passeig Marítim cafés and an accessible boardwalk.
💡 From October to May walk the southern end at sunrise; the Ciutadella walls catch the first light over the bay and the sand stays cool for senior paws
