Getting Around Ravenna with a Dog

Ravenna is flat, compact and made for dogs on foot. The walled centre, its mosaics and Dante's Tomb are all within an easy stroll, and a bicycle is the local way to reach the lidi. Public transport (Start Romagna buses and Trenitalia regional trains) accepts dogs under clear national rules: small dogs in a carrier travel free, larger dogs travel leashed with a muzzle available on request.
