Pet-Friendly Attractions in Paros

The Church of 100 Doors in Parikia is one of the most important Byzantine monuments in Greece, set in a peaceful walled courtyard you can stroll with a leashed dog. The interior, with its early-Christian baptistery, is off-limits to pets, but the grounds and the surrounding old-town lanes make a lovely calm walk.

A quintessentially Cycladic harbour lined with fishing boats, tavernas and a little Venetian-era fort at the water's edge, all explored on foot with a dog at your side. The waterfront and the maze of whitewashed lanes behind it are the island's most atmospheric evening stroll.

The island's prettiest inland village, a cluster of whitewashed houses and a marble-paved square high in the hills where the air is cooler and the streets are almost car-free. It is an easy, shaded leashed walk and the trailhead of the historic Byzantine path down to Prodromos.
