Pet-Friendly Attractions in Olbia

Olbia's most important monument, a Romanesque granite basilica that is one of Gallura's finest medieval churches, set on its own small square near Corso Umberto. The square and the surrounding streets make a pleasant on-leash stroll, even though dogs are not taken inside the church.

The partly pedestrian Corso Umberto is the heart of Olbia, lined with shops, cafes and gelaterie that stay lively into the night. It is the easiest, most enjoyable on-leash walk in town, connecting the main piazzas and most of the dog-friendly terraces.

A remarkable Nuragic sacred well from the late Bronze Age, with a stepped staircase descending to a tholos-covered well chamber, set in an open area on the gulf near the city. The outdoor archaeological site makes a short, low-crowd cultural stop you can combine with a leashed walk by the sea.
