Pet-Friendly Restaurants in Montreux

A central Montreux brasserie a short walk from the lakeside promenade with a covered terrace facing the avenue. The menu runs the Vaudois canon: filet de perche meunière, papet vaudois with saucisson, entrecôte and seasonal fondue. Dogs are welcomed at terrace tables without ceremony and the staff bring a water bowl on arrival. The location is ideal as a refuelling stop between a Quais Fleuris walk and a stroll through the old town.

A cooperative wine cellar in the Lavaux UNESCO terraces with a stone-floored tasting room and a small outdoor terrace looking across the vineyards toward the lake. The menu is short and regional: planchettes of Vacherin Fribourgeois and Gruyère with rye bread, dried meat from Aigle, Chasselas by the glass from the surrounding domains, and harvest specials in September and October. A perfect stop on a Sentier Viticole walk from Saint-Saphorin or Lutry.

A long-standing old-town café-restaurant on the narrow Rue du Marché in Vieux Montreux, a few minutes uphill from the lake. The interior keeps its dark-wood Vaudois bistro character, and the small terrace on the cobbled lane catches the afternoon sun. Dogs are welcomed inside at the back tables and on the terrace. The menu rotates a daily plat du jour, the classic filet de perche du Léman, raclette and fondue from October to March, and a strong list of local wines from Aigle, Yvorne and the Lavaux.
