Luxembourg public transport (free)
Citywide & national · Citywide; main hub at Hamilius and Gare Centrale
Luxembourg's public transport — a single tram line connecting Luxexpo to Stäreplaz/Étoile, dense bus network, and the CFL national rail network reaching every corner of the country — is free for everyone, dogs included. Since the 2020 reform, no ticket is needed. Hamilius is the central interchange; Gare Centrale connects the trains. Border-crossing services to Trier (Germany) and Metz (France) require paid tickets.
💡 The Luxembourg tram is the dog-friendliest urban line — air-conditioned, modern, and barely crowded outside rush hour. Hamilius to Luxexpo takes 25 minutes.
