Luxembourg public transport (free)
Citywide & national · Citywide; main hub at Hamilius and Gare Centrale
Luxembourg's public transport, a single tram line connecting Luxexpo to Stäreplaz/Étoile, dense bus network, and the CFL national rail network reaching every corner of the country, is free for everyone, dogs included. Since the 2020 reform, no ticket is needed. Hamilius is the central interchange; Gare Centrale connects the trains. Border-crossing services to Trier (Germany) and Metz (France) require paid tickets.
💡 The Luxembourg tram is the dog-friendliest urban line, air-conditioned, modern, and barely crowded outside rush hour. Hamilius to Luxexpo takes 25 minutes.
