Hauptplatz Linz
Altstadt / centre · Hauptplatz, 4020 Linz
One of the largest enclosed medieval squares in Central Europe, 13 200 m² of cobblestones surrounded by baroque townhouses, the Old Town Hall and the 1723 Trinity Column at its centre. Leashed dogs are welcome everywhere on the square and at every pavement café terrace. The Pöstlingbergbahn line 50 starts here at the eastern end.
💡 Friday evening market 'Linzer Marktplatzkonzerte' draws a dense crowd in summer — for a calmer first visit with a dog, come Sunday morning.
