Run by Dr Relja Cetkovic, Vet Port is the most traveller-friendly clinic in Kotor, sitting just outside the Old Town in Skaljari. It handles general diagnostics, surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, x-rays, ultrasound and blood tests, and the vet speaks good English. It is a small practice, not a 24-hour hospital, but Dr Relja will discuss out-of-hours emergencies by phone.

A small general-practice clinic in Dobrota, just north of the Old Town along the waterfront, run by Dr Marko Petricevic. It covers everyday needs such as general diagnostics and treatment, vaccinations and microchipping, with long weekday and Saturday opening hours that suit visitors. English is limited, so a translation app helps, but it is a handy, close-in option for the Dobrota promenade area.

Montenegro's only true round-the-clock veterinary hospital, in the capital Podgorica, roughly 90 minutes by car from Kotor. It is a fully equipped international animal hospital offering surgery, diagnostics, ultrasound, x-rays, dental work and emergency care, with English-speaking vets. For a genuine overnight emergency that local Kotor clinics cannot cover, this is the place to head.
