De Bosset Bridge & Koutavos Lagoon
Argostoli waterfront
The De Bosset bridge is the longest stone sea bridge in the world, a flat pedestrian-only crossing of around 700 metres leading to the green Koutavos Lagoon nature area. The lagoon is home to loggerhead sea turtles, ducks and swans, with a tree-lined waterside trail that is the favourite local dog-walking route.
๐ก Walk it at sunset for the best light and cooler temperatures, and bring water as there is little shade mid-bridge
