Dog-Friendly Beaches near Ibiza

The only officially designated year-round dog beach in Ibiza, at the northern end of Cala Nova bay near Santa Eulalia. Golden sand, calm waters protected by a small headland, and dogs allowed off-leash with proper recall. The southern half of the bay remains a regular family beach with the standard 15 May-15 October ban.

One of Ibiza's most beautiful turquoise-water coves on the west coast, with a pine-shaded forest behind. Officially closed to dogs 15 May-15 October like other beaches, but tolerant of leashed dogs the rest of the year. The shaded pine grove behind the beach is dog-friendly year-round and ideal for summer-shoulder walks.

Wild stony cove on the south-west coast directly facing the dramatic Es Vedrà rock that rises 380 m out of the sea. The beach itself follows the standard summer ban for dogs, but the clifftop viewpoint and the coastal walking path tolerate leashed dogs year-round and offer one of the Mediterranean's most striking sunset photographs.
