Dog-Friendly Beaches in Fréjus

The Plage d'Argens at Saint-Aygulf is the largest of Fréjus' three official dog beaches, a wide stretch of fine sand reserved by the City of Fréjus for dogs year-round. The sand shelves gently and the water is calm, ideal for dogs of all sizes; leashes are required and waste bins are provided at the access path.

The Plage des Esclamandes is divided into four sectors: family, naturist, kitesurf and dog. The dog zone is at the extreme northern end of the beach, marked with signage and bins. It is quieter than Argens and the rocky shoreline at the dog end is interesting for ball-fetching games.

Pacha Plage is the dog-friendly section of the free-access Base Nature shoreline, opposite the main park gates. The beach is equipped with dog showers and dedicated waste bins maintained by the City. The strip is narrow but the long park behind it makes for a generous total exercise area.
