Pet-Friendly Attractions in Estepona

Estepona's Old Town is a maze of whitewashed lanes famous for the potted flowers that cover its walls, threaded by the Ruta de Murales, a self-guided route of dozens of large outdoor murals. The whole circuit is flat, pedestrian and free, and the painted streets give more shade than the seafront, making it an ideal long morning walk with a leashed dog.

Estepona's marina is a flat, safe, dog-friendly waterfront with 447 berths, bars, restaurants and a Sunday market, all within easy walking distance of the Old Town. The dog-welcoming terraces and the level promenade make it one of the most relaxed spots in town to stroll and eat with a dog.

The leafy heart of the Old Town, Plaza de las Flores is shaded by orange trees around an 1845 fountain and lined with café terraces where leashed dogs are a familiar sight. It is the natural starting and resting point for exploring the flower-pot streets and the murals route.
