Pet-Friendly Attractions in Düsseldorf

A 2-kilometre car-free promenade along the right bank of the Rhine, transforming the post-war motorway into a continuous riverside park between the Oberkasseler Brücke and the Landtag. Dogs are welcome on leash the entire length, and the route passes the Old Town, the Schlossturm, and the Rheinturm.

A regenerated former cargo harbour at the southern end of the city, world-known for Frank Gehry's three Neuer Zollhof buildings and the Rheinturm. The pedestrian quayside is fully open to dogs on leash; the surrounding restaurants and cafés have dog-friendly terraces and the modern footbridges link the harbour to the Altstadt promenade.
