Dubrovnik's local transport is operated by Libertas (buses). Dogs with a muzzle are permitted on local buses. Jadrolinija ferries connect Dubrovnik (Gruลพ harbour) to the Elaphiti Islands and to Split, and all accept dogs. Croatia is an EU member since 2013 and uses the euro since 2023. Jadrolinija ferries to the Elaphiti Islands depart from Gruลพ harbour. From the Old Town, take Bus 1A to Gruลพ. The ferry to Lopud takes about 50 minutes, ล ipan about 1.5 hours. Dogs must have a muzzle and leash. Check jadrolinija.hr for current timetables โ the morning ferry usually departs around 09:00 and there is an afternoon return.
