Palace of St Michael and St George

Spianada, 49100 Corfu

Neoclassical palace built 1819–1824 by the British as the residence of the Lord High Commissioner of the United States of the Ionian Islands. Now hosts the Asian Art Museum. The grand colonnaded facade closes the northern end of the Spianada; gardens on the east side give sea views over Garitsa Bay.
