Dog-Friendly Parks in Cologne

Cologne's largest urban forest, covering several hundred hectares in the Lindenthal district. The north side of the Stadtwald has a large designated off-leash area (Hundeauslauf) where dogs can run freely. Wooded trails and open meadows make this the best all-weather dog-walking destination in the city. The forest is dense enough to be cool in summer. Accessible by tram (Linie 1 to Dürener Straße/Gürtel).
