Dog Parks & Walks in Cartagena

Cartagena's first proper dog park, a fenced off-leash area of around 1,500 square metres next to the renovated Parque de la Rosa. It has double safety gates, drinking fountains for dogs, benches for owners and an agility course, making it the city's best space for larger dogs to run safely.

A leafy hillside park climbing to the Castillo de la Concepción, with pine shade, terraces and sweeping views over the Roman Theatre and the harbour. Dogs are welcome on-leash on the paths, and the tree cover makes it one of the few daytime walks that stays bearable in the heat.

The wide harbour-front promenade running along the Puerto past the marina and the historic Navidad lighthouse views. Flat, open and lined with palms, it is an easy on-leash walk that catches the sea breeze, best enjoyed in the cool of early morning or evening.
